If authorized, you will get an EX# which should be on the box when you ship it back.Domestic Shipping: We use United States 2 DAY Priority Air Mail with tracking on most standard USA shipping orders. Priority Mail typically arrives 2-3 days after it is shipped, and the post office WILL deliver on Saturdays. Priority mail packages leave our salon in 1-3 business days, varying on the wig maker's distance to Los Angeles, or Miami, Florida. No one can promise you faster delivery on wigs than WigSalon. Most orders now ship on the next or following business day.If you have a special situation, and need your order faster than standard, be sure to let us know. We know how important your order is to you and we can accommodate any reasonable request.

Overseas orders: For most overseas orders we are using Global Priority or USPS AIR USPS Express Mail International (EMI). We reserve the right to upgrade your package to Express Mail International if your order is over $150 US, or for improved reliability. Express Mail includes tracking and insurance and is both economical and very reliable. Since postal rates vary with gas prices and other factors, the rates we display on our site may not be accurate. Overseas clients are responsible for the true cost of shipping at the time of shipping, and a small adjustment to the card used may be charged or requested. With all the "security procedures" going on at customs, we have found that Express Mail International is your best value. By requesting a track number about 3-4 days after your order, and going to USPS.com you can know where your package is at all times. You should be aware of your own country's customs policies. WigSalon is not responsible for any customs charges, though we try to minimize them by invoicing at raw costs.
Feel free to email us a few days after you place your order to track the progress of your order, and we will respond. You may also email us, prior to or directly after an order, to request special shipping arrangements.
Worth noting: Because wigs are light you can get up to 3-4 wigs shipped for nearly the price of one, for everything under one pound just counts as one pound. So if you are going to need more than one piece, it could be wise to order them all at one time.
Canadian orders: Where the order is under $100, and we have a good relationship with the carriers in your province ( most cases) we use Priority Mail which is a great value. You'll see that price when you select "best way". However, when orders are large, or if we believe there may be enroute delays in your province, we upgrade to trackable insured EMI and bill for that upgrade. Cancellation After Ordering: An order, once placed, obliges us to to through certain steps and incur certain costs, including, but not limited to shipping costs to our facility, and, if applicable, on to you. For those reasons, a complete refund is not possible after an order is placed. Contact us via email for the status of your order. In most cases a refund minus 10-20% will suffice, provided you cancel quickly. We do not seek to profit from cancellations. However, you should understand that an order, once placed, starts a ball rolling, and to stop it mid-stream requires some time and expense.
Exchange Policies and Style Suggestions: Our goal has always been customer satisfaction! If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, exchange it for FREE! (Wig must be eligible for exchange) No Restocking Fees! Wigsalon.com will waive all fees associated with your eligible exchange. All Shipping charges will apply for exchanges. The same credit card and shipping method submitted with your original order will apply for your exchange order, unless specified otherwise via email.
Expedite the Exchange Process (Cross-ship) Need your exchange product quickly? Call 1-800-262-8437 or email us with your desired exchange item. We will ship your new product without delay if you agree to have the new purchase charged to your credit card. Then we can refund the item coming back when it arrives.

Exchanges are free but final - no subsequent exchange can be allowed. The cost to process and ship a free exchange wig in the USA - is $12.95. Shipping is not free on exchanges. If shipping on the wig to be exchanged was free, or billed below invoice, the shipping is adjusted to true cost at the time of exchange. Wigs must come back in the same condition as received, with tags affixed and no scent of perfume. Note: on out of the USA exchanges clients are responsible for all actual shipping costs.
In the email you can list the wigs you are considering for exchange and we can make comments on our success with the styles you are choosing. You may email a photo of yourself (or snail mail with your exchange wig request)and request style or color advice, we are usually very accurate with our suggestions. That's the fun and easy way to get professional wig salon advice without paying dearly for this service. Salons often charge up to $200 for style consultation by building it into the price of their wigs. It is free to our Internet customers, but we need that photo to do our very best style or color consultation for you.

In no case should you return a wig to the manufacturer, even if they shipped it to you for us. Please contact us, and return to us. If you mail a wig to the manufacturer, we can can be responsible if it is lost. Also, keep a tracking slip for your returned wig for piece of mind. We allow one exchange only per order.Exclusions to our return policy are:
Costume and Party wigs, wigs purchased from clearance sale pages, wig care products, wigs made by Lacey, items under $25 are considered final sales. Wigs ordered via money order or PayPal may be exchanged, however there is a 10% fee. No actual refund can be done.Wigs over $150 are eligible for Free Exchange Only, unless otherwise excluded for exchange. We are happy to offer style consultation with a free exchange if requested. This is one of our best services. Please consider letting us help you select, if a first choice does not work for you.

Please make a note of it.Human Hair and Lace-front Wigs: Human Hair wigs or pieces over $150 - may be exchanged ONLY. No refund to a credit card can be made, but a salon credit until a proper color or style is found, is not a problem. There is a $20 re-stock fee and of course, all the guidelines as to the state of the wig and the time of reporting do apply.
Custom made wigs are final sales. Custom-made means you have directed us to make a wig or fall for you. We will make adjustments to a styles color or fit for you should your piece arrive and need a tweaking. There may be an industry standard charge related to this adjustment, and you will be notified. It is recommended that a custom- made human hair wig be taken to a local salon for a trim and thin, and perhaps a bang customization.
One Free Exchange:
When applicable, we offer is ONE FREE exchange per ORDER. The exchange is FINAL on that particular purchase. It can not be exchanged again, or returned. You must email to - info@wigsalon.com - for an RA# on any exchanges or the package may be refused. If you are exchanging, we figure you need a little style consultation. We are experts at doing that. To get the best results, it is best to include a photo of you, or email one with the first exchange requestAdditional Exchanges: We reserve the right to allow one additional exchange per order. There is a 20% restock fee for additional exchanges beyond the one free exchange. You must email to - info@wigsalon.com - for an RA# on any exchanges or the package may be refused. It is best to include a photo of you with the first exchange request to get truly personalized style help. We are here to help you find the best style and color.
Returns We try very hard to make sure that our customers are getting the best wigs or hairpieces in the world for their particular need, be it medical or cosmetic. We ask that our customers who deal with solely over the Internet or our 800 number services, take the time to read through our material on topics such as head size and face shape, in our Wig Salon Advice Page. An educated customer makes a better decision, and so we strive to educate you as we serve you. It's a win/win proposition for both you and WigSalon.com. For these reasons, we have one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings of any wig company in the world.
Return Guidelines
In the event that you do receive something that you are not happy with, we will take back your wig or hairpiece piece, but there are specific guidelines which must be followed:
- You must report your dissatisfaction via email within five days of the receipt of your piece.
- The piece or wig must not have been worn.
- You must request and receive an RA# by emailing info@wigsalon.com - or calling 1-800-262-8437.
- The RA# should be visible on the postal or UPS box, - not on the actual wig box. other than to try it on.
- The original tags must be affixed to the piece as it was delivered to you.
- In trying on the piece do not personalize the wig attempt to style it. Simply shake it out, style with your fingers or gently with a pick. If either the color,style or size is not right for you, you will know immediately upon looking. So please notify us immediately about a color issue.
In the case of a requested outright return, with no exchange requested, to cover our costs, and due to the personal nature of the hairgoods industry, we find it necessary to charge a minimum $10 restocking fee or 20% of the wig value, whichever is higher. Clients are responsible for actual shipping costs in both directions in the case of a requested refund.Multiple wig orders: When ordering multiple wigs , only one wig is outright returnable, and one other may be exchanged according to our policies. Remember: When you order more than one wig - only one is returnable. The others are exchange only. At WigSalon.com we prefer that you buy carefully until you know what pieces and colors are working for you. If you email a photo with a return/exchange request, we will help you become your own wig pro - which is both good for you and us.

In no case should you return a wig to the manufacturer, even if they shipped it to you for us. Please contact us, and return to us.Please note that the five day reporting rule applies to all wigs and hairpieces and so, if you receive a piece, as example, which you do not intend to wear for five weeks, because it is for a special event, you still must try it on immediately to be sure it is okay and under warranty.
CLEARANCE SALE WIGS, European Naturals, Beverly Johnson, Motown Tress, Estetica, Forever Young, Incognito, and Look of Love: Friendly Exchange Policy These brands do not have return or exchange policies of their own, however WigSalon.com is supplementing that, so that our clients can buy these wigs with confidence as well.
Clients will be allowed to EXCHANGE these wigs by notifying us within 5 business days of receipt of the wig via email or call 800 262 8437 and leave a clear detailed message. There will be a $10 service charge for handling the exchange. All actual shipping charges on the first order ( if it had been free shipping ) and the replacement order must be covered, though we do this at cost. You may request a shipping cost search by emailing mike@wigsalon.com. USA orders usually cost $6.75 to ship. No refund to your credit card will be done for these brands, however you may select from any wig or product in our entire catalog for a replacement, and the "salon credit" will be good indefinitely.
All other aspects of our normal exchange policy remain in effect. Wigs must be returned with tags on, in A#1 condition, not worn except for try-on, with no scent of perfumed hair, and in a condition of general respect. Thank You.
Costume and Theatrical Wigs: Costume & theatrical wigs are sold as FINAL SALES ONLY. They are considerable less expensive than our regular line of medical quality wigs. NO refunds or exchanges are permitted. Email mike@wigsalon.com to get any questions answered on costume wigs.
Time of Delivery: WigSalon.com sells wigs for people who need them over the long haul. Sometimes, there will be delays in certain styles or colors, or even delays with UPS or the Postal System. These delays are beyond our control. In the event that time becomes crucial for you, please notify us. We will do do what we can to speed things along. Once wig is in transit, client is responsible for the shipping expenses of said wig or wigs.
Items under $20: Items under $20 are always final sales. With the cost of shipping and processing today, trusting this is understandable and generous.
Our Internet prices are 10% to 20% less than our in-shop prices. That is because our Internet prices do not reflect the cost of personal consultation and styling that you receive as a sit-down customer. Most wig salons charge, either directly or indirectly hundreds and sometimes up to $600 for these consultations and stylings. Our average cost for consultation and styling is between $15 and $20 and is included in our in-shop prices. And our in-shop prices are still way below list price! Our thousands of satisfied customers will attest to that. It's one reason, but not the only one, that they have been returning to us for so many years.
So while you can order on the Internet or the telephone and even pick up your pieces in Miami Beach, you can not expect to get our Internet prices and free personal consultation and styling when you are here. (Trusting that seems reasonable enough.)
The meaning of Rush Orders: Overnight or Rush orders are processed on the same or next business day, depending on what time of day your order comes in, and the particulars of the business day. In many cases, the wig maker or a fulfillment company near the wig maker's warehouse, will be sending your order directly to you via UPS. If you have selected RUSH and your cost of shipping is about $19.75, we will send it the fastest way possible for the $19.75. That means that overnight orders usually average three business days. But realistically the actual ETA depends on where you live in relationship to where the wig maker is. So please factor that into your expectations, and remember that if you need a wig for true overnight, like the very next day, or within 2 days, you must contact us to make us aware of your needs. Then we will strive to accommodate, of course. Almost anything is possible, if you are willing to pay the true cost of the UPS shipping to get it to you. As example: It takes 4 business days for UPS Ground to traverse the USA from coast-to-coast these days. A Revlon wig early ordered early on Monday via RUSH will get to most places on the West Coast by Friday. But if the wig only has to go from Revlon ( Florida ) to say Georgia - then that same RUSH order may get there in one or two business days, by Tuesday or Wednesday. We have placed the locations of the various wig makers on this map, so you can have some idea of how long your RUSH order should take to get to you. Remember RUSH orders leave quickly - in one or two days - and then travel from the wig maker - via UPS GROUND - to your door. The UPS distance from the wig maker to your location - dictates ETA and varies from overnight to 4 days - and in some cases even 5 business days. Also remember that WigSalon can make just about anything happen in an emergency - but we have to be made aware that there is an emergency to do that.
Eva Gabor and Raquel Welch will only ship RUSH in a true wig emergency. Usually that means a monofilament wig ( medical ) or a large order. They are too busy to do this on an every day basis, but we will get this done for you, if it really has to be that way. Just let us know via email or phone - or post COMMENTS to your order. Overnight and Rush Orders do not include weekends. UPS does not deliver weekends.
Rush orders are per vendor. If your RUSH order contains items from more than one wig brand, we will only RUSH one brand for you. The other item(s) will come standard in about a week. Our logic is that this keeps you covered so to speak until the rest of your order arrives. However, we do realize than sometimes you may need all your wigs quickly ( say in the case that you are travelling ). If you order RUSH from more than one brand, and need the entire order in less than a week, please call or email us. If you email include your phone number. We can accommodate. We just need to know what your situation is.
Third Party or Alternate Shipping Addresses: WigSalon.com prefers to ship to the address that the card-bank has on file for you, but we realize that sometimes this can not be done or is not convenient. If you are a new client, we do have a small processing fee, under one dollar, for shipping to an address that is not known by your card-bank. You will get an email if the bank advises us that they do not know your address, but the precise amount of that small fee will vary, while remaining under one dollar. We ask that you call your card-bank and report to us the exact amount of that processing fee. By doing this, it verifies you as the card-holder, since only the card-holder is privy to this information. After that is done, we can ship wherever you ask us to.
Foreign or Alternate Address Verification: Many foreign banks will not verify the address of their clients. And some times domestic clients need things shipped to addresses that are new or not known to their card/bank. Whatever the case, if you are a new client, with an address that can not be verified by your card/bank, we ask that you call your card/bank and report to us the FULL and EXACT NAME of OUR WIG COMPANY, as it appears to your card/bank. You may also be able to log on and see that information.
Email that information to us at: info@wigsalon.com. Use a subject we will recognize. Your name should be in the subject. By doing this, it verifies you as the card-holder, since only the card-holder is privy to this information. After that is done, we can ship wherever you ask us to, even if you are on vacation. We do not hold up you order while this is taking place. Once you are confirmed, future orders on the same credit card will not require this process. This is a simple and fail safe Internet security which eliminates the chance that anyone else can use your credit card and ask us to ship things to places you don't know.
Refused Parcel or Wrong Address: If an order is refused, it gets treated as a client return as long as it gets back to us OK. You will have the option of asking us to re-ship it ( and pay the ship fee )or we can credit for the wig minus 20% if the wig is indeed one that we do credits for. See above on that as there are some wigs that do not qualitfy for credit. The same is true of the address you type in a wrong address and the wig comes back to us.

And now we wish to share with you some of the "positive" policies that we hold dear at WigSalon.
- We will respond and ship quickly. In most cases standard delivery items are shipped in three to four business days. Rush Order and Second Day service is available for most styles.
- We will be friendly and informative on the telephone, Internet and in our salon. If it's out there, we can get it for you, so if you do not see it at our site, and it is by one of our wig-makers, just ask.
- Personal Consultation is available at no fee from WigSalon.com. You can email us a photo in JPG or GIF mode, or include a photo with an exchange request. Once we can see you this way, we can figure out what the best styles and colors are for you. This service usually costs hundreds of dollars at wig salons, or they factor it into their wig prices. It is totally free at WigSalon.com and we encourage you to take advantage of it, especially if you are new to wigs.
- We prune our site like a garden to carry only the best styles. We test our styles in the salon before placing them on the Internet. By doing this, you are assured that the wig style you see in the photo, can be easily achieved at home with little styling effort, or with the use of our wig products. No professional styling is needed on our synthetic wigs except bang trimming in some cases which is rather easy to do. The only exception to this is the human hair wigs which do require professional attention to look their best.

- We won't be undersold! Our huge volume makes us great buyers of wigs so there's no reason for us to be undersold by the published prices of any wig firm in the world.
